Wikipedia, I think, is a great starting point for any research. It was find out that there are monitors of the information; not everything that is inputted will stay. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered the link which shows the recent changes, and to what posts the changes were made. It's nice to know, when you are reading the info, there is some credibility to the work!
I was unable to find a topic too obscure that Wikipedia didn't cover. There is quite a bit of info, over 3 million entries, so obviously there is still room for knowledge, but I was unable to find that point!!

Delicious!?
Delicious, when I first entered the site, has always been a bit of an "experience", shall we say. I have never really found it to be all that user friendly, but I guess that means this was a great experience for me!
I feel that Delicious is a little bit too busy for any coherent true understanding of what is being offered on the website. There "are only words", as one customer put it to me. As well, there aren't really any instruction as to what to do for the customers, who aren't exactly computer literate. It just seems really overwhelming at first glance, which I think puts off a lot of people, who might otherwise use it.
Another disadvantage would be that anyone can bookmark any website. Some of the things I found weren't exactly kid friendly!
On the other side, it is advantageous to have a website were you can bookmark your favorite websites, and be able to see them no matter where you are in the world. It is great to be able to bring up your favorites without needing to use your own computer. As well, it is nice to have a collection of websites that, for the most part, are used only for what you need them for, as in the CPL best websites.
So now, for me, Delicious is not this monster I had initially thought when I saw it for the first time! I have conquered one uncomfortable experience!!

What to Learn From 2.0
I hope to become much more affluent in what a blog is all about, and be able to help customers with being able to set up their own blog and be more confident in informing customers of CPL about the wonders of technology, both from a library point of view as well as a general "citizen" point of view. Introducing people to the 21st century!!
